Helen Palmer noted in a comment about The Juice Market that her favorite hot chocolate was at Cafe Shober (that's the name most of us in Zurich know; actually the owner Teuscher Chocolates just changed the name to Cafe Felix AND added a second location at Bahnofstrasse 104 ).
OK. I will try that.
My favorite up to now is the Cafe & Bar at Confiserie
Spruengli. Paradeplatz. I especially like stopping by the small downstairs cafe for a hot chocolate before work. (No not every day as tempted!) Then you see mostly the locals like me just for some minutes. It's quiet. A few people sit around reading a newspaper. A couple of men talk together. Often there's a dog at someone's feet. The waitresses are relaxed and wish you a good morning. Later, the tourists set in...fortunately, the hot chocolate always tastes good.
Thanks for the link, but could you direct it to just http://nice-cup-of-tea.livejournal.com/ ? Thanks :-)
The great thing about Cafe Felix is that its so kitsch that it's almost cool! I went there before Christmas with a friend who was visiting. There were decorations everywhere and combined with the low (claustrophic) ceilings it felt like you were sitting in the middle of a Christmas tree :-)

Hi Again. Didn't know where to send this so.....I laughed all the way home from shopping at Krogers and Lowes this morning. In Krogers I ran into a NV mom and one of her three daughters I had in 3rd grade. She asked me if my ears were burning. I laughed and she said they had been talking about me this morning. I said "Oh no, what did I do or not do?" (Maybe this should be continued on your regular e-mail.) To be continued on regular e-mail. Love, MOM
