Last Friday, I wrote about remembering to turn on my relaxed emotions for the weekend. It worked for two hours. Then I came out of the networking meeting I also mentioned, to go home fairly early, and found that my (favorite, of course) winter coat had disappeared from the (very nice) restaurant's coat rack.
Relaxed emotions gone. Felt like the world crashing after a busy week.
Three days later, the coat is still also gone.
But my very nice insurance agent (have a great one here) has quickly filed a claim. And the restaurant manager will pay my deductible. I'll survive. It is only a coat.
But it felt like much more at that moment when I burst into tears. And I realized I needed to get a perspective. That incident has, in a funny way, helped me through this busy week of meetings. I keep saying "it's not like it's your favorite coat on a Friday!"
As this picture from my mini-Spring break in Thun shows, pretty soon I won't need a coat anyway! Chin-up, girl...
You should hire a private investigator to help you with finding your coat, well better luck next time! Oh e-mail me please heedy8@yahoo.com
