I took this photo just one week ago - on Sunday morning, 2 November - while perched on my favorite rock after jogging down to the lake. Said to myself, "This might be one of the last beautiful Fall mornings of the season. Fantastic!"
Not far from reality.
Since then the fog has descended and most leaves have dropped. I now have to be a bit careful not to slip on them when I walk down to the tram station (let alone jog).
And it rains or drizzles or drips for hours on end. Hard to know when to put up or down the umbrella. A month of bad hair days!
But that helped me stay inside to get my 3rd Quarter bookkeeping together, check-out some new training facilities, write (and deliver) two seminars, plus light a few candles and a fire in my chimney.
Despite such positive thinking, this evening as darkness overtook the tram while I rode back to the office from a meeting, I thought, "Ready for those holiday lights now!"
