It's snowing "to beat the band" here! I managed to get a jog in at my health club in time to drive my car up the hill home before the roads had me parking and walking (again). Doesn't that sound a little ironic - a "jog & drive?"
Love this time of the year also for the catch-up with friends. We take time for coffees and talking, like today's little hike up to the Zurichberg Hotel with a good friend for a hot chocolate and the great view in winter afternoon sunlight.
And it's the fourth Sunday in Advent. What's really cool is that these stripes were from the sunrise through my window blinds. It's so cold right now, I close all blinds every night (rare for me; I like to see the world outside of my window). What a beautiful sight it was when I lit my candle and noticed the backdrop.
I know. Sometimes I'm silly! (Now I'm going to listen to the 7 p.m. church bells rise up across Zurich, drink my prosecco, cook dinner, light a fire, and think my day was fortunate and perfect.)
